An educational event was held in military unit № N under the joint organization of the Permanent Working Group of the Ministry of Defense and the State Commission according to the "2019-2024 State Program on Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors and Combating Drug Addiction" on October 25 of this year.

At the events, the Deputy Head of the Working Group of the Commission, the Department Head of the Sumgayit City Drug Dispensary of the Ministry of Health, the doctor-narcologist made speeches on the topic and gave necessary information about the properties of drugs, their harmful effects on health and the stages of drug addiction formation, including the action plan for preventive measures.

In the end, the booklet "Methodical recommendations for helping to identify persons who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" and other necessary propaganda materials  prepared by the Permanent Working group of the State Commission were presented to the participants.
