A meeting with cadets on "Drug addiction and its consequences" was held under the joint organization of the Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics and the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

At the event, the head of the sector of the Working Group of the State Commission made a presentation and discussed the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people"s lives and health, moral values and socio-economic development, increasing attention to the efficient organization of leisure time, the legal basis of the fight against the consequences of drug addiction and other detailed information on the issues was given, and discussions were held on the questions of interest to the participants.

In the end, a booklet end "To help identify people who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" and necessary propaganda materials end "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" were presented to the participants that were prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission.
