According to the decision of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the State Commission on Fight against drug Abuse and Illegal Drug Dispensing Mr Ali Hasanov, on 4 September 2016, at the administrative territory of the “Machine-building factory” named after Bunyad Sardarov, confiscated on 199 court verdict, more than 473 kg different sorts of drugs, more than one kilogram psychoactive drug substances and 2116 cannabis plants have been exterminated with the organization of the State Commission’s Working Group by the Commission on Extermination of drugs, psychoactive drug substances, and their precursors.

   Exterminated drugs, psychoactive drugs and their precursors were composed of 364 kg 252,778 marihuana, 164 kg 542,743 gr opium, 27 kg 446,626 gr heroines, 16 kg 542,743 gr hashish gums, more than 1 kg psychoactive drugs and 2116 cannabis plants. (Overall, value of the terminated different sorts of drugs is AZN 12 million at the black market).

   Extermination processes are diffused by the local TV channels and highlighted by the mass media.
