According to the decision of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairman of the State Commission on Fight against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking of Drugs Mr Ali Hasanov, on 5 July 2017, at the administrative territory of the “Machine-building factory” named after Bounyad Sardarov, the confiscated drugs with 280 court verdict, here including more than 452 kg different sorts of drugs and psychotropic substances, and 8703 cannabis plants have been exterminated with the organization of the State Commission’s Working Group by the Commission on Extermination of drugs, psychoactive drug substances, and their precursors.

   Exterminated drugs, psychoactive drugs, and their precursors were composed of 264 kg 997, 22 marihuana, 116 kg 287, 118 gr opium, 16 kg 232, 41 gr heroines, 39 kg 583 gr cocaine and 5 kg 62, 68 gr cannabis plants.  Overall, the value of the terminated different sorts of drugs is AZN 12 million at the black market.

  Extermination processes are diffused by the local TV channels and highlighted by the mass media.
