A new event was held on September 8, 2017, at the hall II of the Shaki penitentiary institution according to the Action Plan confirmed for the year 2017 among the Ministry of Justice’s Penitentiary Service and the State Commission on Fight against Drug Addiction and Illicit Trafficking of Drugs.

   Representatives of the State Commission on fight against Drug Addiction and Illicit Trafficking of Drugs, the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice, the Republican Narcological Center, the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs made speeches on the theme,gave information and recommendations on the the destructive impact of the drug addiction to the human body, and the way of the spread of AIDS and other terrible illnesses.

   At the end, a video film giving a clear idea of the consequences of drug addiction and drugs was demonstrated, also memorandums, warning sheets and other necessary educational products produced by the State Commission's Working Group distributed among the prisoners.
