Created to support successful policies against drug addiction and AIDS spread by national leader Heydar Aliyev, the "Youth Initiative in Anti drug addiction" Public Union, with the financial support of the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Working Group of the State Commission for the Prevention of Drug Trafficking and Drug Abuse, within the framework of the project "Healthy Geneffle Protection!", held events in full secondary schools No 2 and 4 in Guba district, secondary school No 1 in Primary Nugadi settlement and secondary school in Amsar village, secondary schools No 2, 4, 6 and 9 in Khachmaz region. The educational activities are conducted under the slogan of "Say No to Drugs".

   The event was attended by the representatives of the The "Youth Initiative in Anti drug addiction" Public Union, Guba and Khachmaz Region Executive Authorities, district education and health departments, youth and sports departments, school directors, teachers and pupils.  

   The speakers of the event talked about the drug addiction that is called “white death” and its consequences, ways to protect from drug addiction and AIDS, and so on. giving detailed information about the care shown by our state to every citizen and the importance of healthy growth of our future which is the youth. It was noted that in the fight against drug addiction there is a great need for the individual and joint activity of the society, the state, the people, finally, of each person. After the return of the great leader Heydar Aliyev to power, the problem of drugs trafficking was taken up, and the importance of counteracting the negative situation has come to the forefront, in other words, a new stage has been set for the problem.

   The most successful aspect of this stage, which we call the "new" conventional, is that the necessary conditions have been created for the activities of public organizations along with the state agencies in the fight against drug trafficking.

   Within the framework of the event, active participants from the "Youth Initiative in Anti drug addiction" Public Union were awarded a diploma, and the teachers and senior pupils were distributed booklets, stationery (pen and notebook) and booklets created by the Public Union, conversations with participants and discussions were continued around the table opened at school buffets.
