Within the framework of the activities aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles among young people, removing them from harmful habits, increasing the efficiency of fight against drug addiction, the Baku State Communication and Transport College and the State Committee for the Prevention of Drug Trafficking and Drug Abuse held an event at the conference room of Baku State Communication and Transport College, on December 18, 2017.

   The event was attended by the State Committee’ Working Group on fightagainst Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking ofDrugs, the responsible employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the doctor of the Baku Narcological Dispensary, and they gave detailed information on the destructive effects of drugs on human organisms, the health of society and people, and on its social consequences. Extensive discussions were held around the questions that the students were interested in.

   At the same time, the Working Group of the State Commission distributed to the participants the manuals and warning sheets designed to prevent the use of non-medical consumption of narcotic substances, and to identify persons who have been exposed to narcotic and psychotropic substances.
