“The Joint Action Plan” for 2018 was signed on fight against drug abuse and illicit trafficking of drugs for the purpose of further strengthening anti-drug propaganda in prisons between the Ministry ofJustice’s Penitentiary Service and the Working Group of the State Commission.

    The timetable, the place of venue and the responsible persons were defined in the Action Plan.

    During the current year, prisoners serving under the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice have been informed of the disadvantageous effects of drugs on human organisms, the damage to society and the health of people.  Equally, a series of events will be held on distribution of necessary propaganda materials on HIV / AIDS and other viral infections, rehabilitation of prisoners and their reintegration into society,as well as on provision of them with explanations of medical hygiene, and on demonstration of video films on the subject and distribution of necessary propaganda materials.
