According to the relevant order of Mr. Ali Hasanov, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan,Chairman of the State Commission for Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking,the Working Group of the State Commission and Sabunchu District Executive Power together held an awareness event at the Youth House of the region due to  26 June,  "The struggling day against drug trafficking"of the United Nations. 

      First deputy of Sabunchu district Executive Power, the employees of the Working Group of the  State Commission against Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking,  , District Police Department,the Regional Youth Department, psychologists, teachers and pupils took part in the event.The representatives of the relevant state agencies made speeches on the subject, dwelling on the effects of drugs on the human body, the disaster caused by drug addiction, raising the attention of the district commission to the measures to be taken to prevent drug addiction, involving public figures and religious figures, municipalities, police agencies, education workers, labor icollectives and recommendations on how to expand ties between the collectives and relevant commissions,at the same time gave intormation and advice about the   AIDS and other terrible illnesses, and  widespread discussions were held with the event participants about the issues of interest .

     At the end, the necessary visual aids prepared by the  Working Group of the State Commission were distributed to the participants.
