Due to the execution of the Action Plan on the implementation of the "State Program for the 2013-2018 years on Illicit Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors and  the Struggle Against Narcotics" ,an awareness event was held  on November 15 of the current year in  Agsu region that was organized by the Working Group of the State Commission on the theme "To learn the truth about drugs and psychotropic substances"  in order to propagandize the consequences of drug abuse, as well as the harm of drug addiction to society and people's health.

  The representatives of the State Committee for Combating Drug Trafficking and Narcotic Drugs of the Agsu  Region Executive Committee, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Health, State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs made speeches on the topic and informed the listeners about the destructive effects of drugs on the human body, gave detailed information about the damage to society and the health of people and the social problems they committed. Particular attention was paid to the effective organization of leisure, sports, art and social work.

  At the same time, the participants were also provided with distribution of propaganda materials about the consequences of narcotics, the necessary propaganda materials  which reflect special slogans.
