According to the "State Program for the years 2013-2018 on  the illegal turnover of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors and struggle against drug  addiction", an awareness-raising event was held on the theme "Learn the truth about narcotics and psychotropic substances" on November 27, 2018 in Buzovna settlement of Khazar region at Sanatorium boarding school No 8.

  At the event, the staff of the State Committee for Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking of the Khazar District Executive Committee, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Education, Health, and the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs made speeches on the subject, their impact on society and people's health and the social disturbances they have committed. Particular attention was paid to the effective organization of leisure, sports, art and social work.

  At the same time, within  the  framework  of  the  event  memory and warning brochures prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission were distributed to the participants in order to help them identify the users of psychotropic substances and drugs and prevent themselves from non-medical users of narcotics.
