In the direction of the implementation of the Action Plan on the execution of the State Program for 2013-2018 years on Illicit Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors and  the Struggle Against Narcotics" an awareness-raising  event was held on the theme "Surakhani youth choose a healthy lifestyle" that was organized by the Heydar Aliyev Center of Surakhani District,Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking,the District Executive Power with the District Sports and Youth Affairs Department.

  The members of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking, the Surakhani District Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking made a speech about harms of drug addiction to society and human health, the consequences of the ill-treatment and the importance of enlightenment, emphasized the need to increase the attention of the youth to the training, to the employment of their leisure time, the importance of sports, art and social work.

  At the end, the memory and warning brochures prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission were distributed to the participants in order to help them identify the users of psychotropic substances and drugs and prevent themselves from non-medical users of narcotics.
