An awareness-raising event was held in penal institutions № 3 and 4 in August, 26 of the current year in accordance with the "Action Plan" for 2019 signed between the Penal Service of the Ministry of Justice and the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.

  Representatives of the Working Group of the State Commission , Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs, Republican Narcological Center of the Ministry of Health made speeches about the harmful effects of drugs on the human body, the spread of drug addiction, AIDS and other diseases, at the same time they gave explanations and recommendations for the rehabilitation and reintegration of prisoners.

  In the end, necessary awareness print products prepared by Working Group of the State Commission were distributed among the prisoner.
