The Working Group of the State Commission  on August 28 of this year held  an event with the Executive Power of Yevlakh district in order to strengthen the  control over the implementation of the "State Program for 2019-2024 on Illicit Trafficking of Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors as well as Prevention of Drug Addiction" and to coordinate the work with relevant local authorities during its implementation.

  The Deputy Commissioner of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking, Head of the Working Group Sector and General Counsel, Deputy Mayor of the City, Member of the City Commission on Combating Drug and Illicit Drug Trafficking participated at the event.

  Also wide discussions were held on the devastating effects of drugs on the human body, the tragedies caused by drug addiction, the city commission's efforts to prevent drug addiction, and the involvement of public, religious figures, municipalities, police, education workers, labor collectives and relevant commissions as well as provided information and recommendations were given on the ways of spread of AIDS and  other horrible diseases.

 The city commission was helped with the methodological assistance and was provided with necessary visual aids within the framework of the event.
