The Working Group of the State Commission  on August, 30 of this year held  an event with the Executive Power of Gadabay district in order to strengthen the  control over the implementation of the "State Program for 2019-2024 on Illicit Trafficking of Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors as well as Prevention of Drug Addiction" and to coordinate the work with relevant local authorities during its implementation.

  The participants of the event were employees of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking, representatives of District Executive Power and relevant government agencies, members of the Regional Commission on Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking, provided detailed information on disruptive effects of drugs on the human body, society, and the health of people and extensive discussions were held about the questions that participants were interested in.

  At the end of the event, the Working Group of the State Commission distributed memory booklets and warnings to participants in preventing non-medical use of drugs, identifying persons using drugs and psychotropic substances.
