On October 30 of this year, the Working Group of the State Commission jointly with Samukh District, held  an event  in order to strengthen the  control over the implementation of the "State Program for 2019-2024 on Illicit Trafficking of Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors as well as Prevention of Drug Addiction" and to coordinate the work with relevant local authorities during its implementation.

  The head of Samukh District Executive Power, members of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking, members of the district commission and representatives of relevant government agencies took part at the event.

 The speeches were about the disruptive effects of drugs on the human body, the tragedies caused by drug addiction, the increased attention of the district commission to the prevention of drug addiction, and the involvement of community members, clergy, municipalities, police, education workers, labor collectives and the extension of the contacts among relevant commissions, at the same time, recommendations were also made to prevent the spread of AIDS and a number of other horrible diseases.

 In addition, there were extensive discussions on the issues that interested the particpants

 The city commission was helped with the methodological assistance and was provided with necessary visual aids containing warning messages about drug consequences within the framework of the event.
