On November 25 of this year, the Working Group of the State Commission together with the Zagatala District Executive Power held an enlightement event for the implementation of the "State Program for 2019-2024 on the Illicit Drug Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors as well as Fight against Drug Addiction".

  The members of the Working Group of the State Commission on Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking, Deputy Head of Zagatala District Executive Power, members of the district commission and representatives of relevant government agencies participated at the event.

  In the speeches the recommendations were made on the disruptive effects of drugs on the human body, the tragedies caused by drug addiction, the increased attention of the district commission to the prevention of drug addiction, and gave information on  the involvement of community members, clergy, municipalities, police, education workers, labor collectives and relevant commissions at the same time, recommendations were also made to prevent the spread of AIDS and a number of other horrible diseases.

  In addition, extensive discussions were held around the questions that interested the participants of the event and provided methodological assistance to the district commission and distributed the necessary promotional materials containing information on drug consequences.

  At the end of the event an exhibition of paintings by students of the cultural center on the tragedies caused by drug addiction was reviewed.
