On November 26, the Working Group of the State Commission on Illicit Traficking of Drugs and Drug Addiction together with the Sheki City Executive Power in acordance to the "State Program for 2019-2024 on Illicit Trafficking of Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors as well as Fight against Drug Addiction" to strengthen the awareness and propaganda of Drug Addiction and providing the sustainability, as well as raise awareness about the disruptive effects of drugs and psychotropic substances.

  At the event  held in the auditorium of the Sheki branch of the The members of the Working Group of the State Commission on Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Traficking , members of the city commission and representatives of relevant government agencies made a speech at the event  held in the auditorium of the Sheki branch of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University on the destructive effects of drugs on human bodies, provided information and advice on the involvement of religious leaders, expanding contacts between municipalities, police, education workers, labor collectives and relevant commissions to this kind of events.

  In addition, there were extensive discussions on the issues that interested the participants. In particular, the importance of efficient leisure time, sports, arts and social work was emphasized.

 The city commission was helped with methodical assistance and provided with necessary visual aids.
