The Working Group of the State Commission together with the Gabala District Executive Authority held an enlightement event on November 26 of the current year in Gabala Vacational Training Center due to the implementation of the relevant paragraphs of the "State Program for 2019-2024 on Combating illicit trafficking of drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors as well as fight against drugs"

 The members of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking, members of the district commission and representatives of relevant state agencies took part at the event.

  The participants gave detailed information about the harmful effects of drugs on the human body, to the society and human health and caused social disasters as well as  gave recommendation on the prevention of the spread of AIDS and several other dangerous diseases.

 At the same time, recommendations were made to involve public figures and clergies to this kind of events, and to expand contacts among municipalities, police, education workers, labor collectives and relevant commissions.

 Also, extensive discussions were held around the questions that interested the participants. The district commission was helped with methodical support and provided with the necessary visual aids within the framework of the event.
