On July 29 of the current year, on the initiative of the Regional Information and Coordination Center for Central Asia of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), a video conference was held on a virtual platform for consultations with the participation of relevant government agencies to develop a new draft program covering 2021-2025.
The purpose of the consultations was to study the interest of the Republic of Azerbaijan to join this program and its priorities in the fight against drugs, crime and terrorism in the coming years, to present the global directions of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, to discuss joint cooperation plans and future prospects.
A representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the leadership of CARICC(Central Asia Regional Information and Coordination Center), the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Health, the State Customs Committee, the State Security Service and the State Commission participated at the video conference.
