An online conference was held on December 23 of the current year on "Organization of awareness-raising activities in the fight against drug addiction" by the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking jointly with  the Guba Branch of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.

  The director and deputy director of the Guba branch of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, sector director of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking, more than 50 teachers and students participated in the meeting.

   Speakers  provided detailed information and recommendations on the harmful effects of drugs and psychotropic substances, their devastating effects on the human body, the importance of early treatment and awareness in the fight against drug addiction, increased attention to preventive measures and had a broad discussions around the topic and answered questions of interest to students.
