In order to ensure the implementation of the relevant items of "Azerbaijan Youth State Program for 2017-2021" and "State Program for 2019-2024 on Combating Illicit Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors and Drug Addiction , online seminars were held by the Ministry of Youth and Sport  on "Strengthening the fight against drug addiction among young people during the Covid-19 pandemic" in Ganja-Gazakh, Absheron and Mountainous Shirvan on February 23 and March 2, 2021.

    Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev, Deputy Head of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking Tanriverdi Aydinov, Chief of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Adalat Valiyev, Head of the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health Deputy Ulker Jamalova informed the youth in this area.

    Youth in Ganja-Gazakh zone (Ganja, Gazakh Agstafa, Tovuz, Shamkir, Gadabay, Dashkasan, Samukh, Goygol, Goranboy, Naftalan), Absheron and Mountainous Shirvan zone (Absheron, Khizi, Sumgayit, Gobustan, Agsu, Shamakhi, Goychay) and Heads of sports departments and active youth took part in it, information and suggestions on the work done in this direction were voiced on the topic.
