An Action Plan for 2021 was signed between the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice and the permanent Working Group of the State Commission   on  Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking and Drug Addiction in order to  strengthen anti-drug propaganda in penitentiaries in accordance with the "State Program for 2019-2024 on Combating Illicit Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors and Drug Addiction ".

   The Action Plan defines the topic, time, place and responsible persons of the planned events.

  It is planned to hold a number of events during 2021 on trainings for employees of the Protection Regiment and institutions of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice , the destructive effects of drugs on prisoners, harm to society and human health, medical hygiene on AIDS and other viruses, rehabilitation and reintegration of prisoners into society  as well as the screening of relevant videos and distribution of necessary propaganda materials.

    The events to be held in penitentiaries, the Guards Regiment and the Convoy Battalion are important in the process of educating prisoners, as well as in strengthening awareness and anti-drug propaganda among soldiers undergoing active military service.
