An online seminar-conference on "Actual problems of combating drugs and drug business" was organized by the Youth and Sports Department of Yasamal district and the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking on April 15 of the current year.

  Tanriverdi Aydinov- Deputy Head of the Working Group of the State Commission, Ilham Safarov-Chief of the Youth and Sports Department of Yasamal District, Galib Mammadov- Chief Physician of the Baku Narcological Dispensary, Elnur Orujov- Chief of the Drug Control Department of the Yasamal District Police Office, a senior official of the State Committee for ,Family, Women and Children Problems Amil Zeynalov, and Haji Surkhay- akhund of the  “Juma” Mosque in Icheri Sheher, spoke about the effects of drugs and psychotropic substances, their destructive effects on the human body, the importance of early treatment and enlightenment in the fight against drug addiction and made recommendations at the same time  extensive discussions were held on the topic.
