An awareness-raising event on "We choose a healthy lifestyle" was held on June 18 at the School-Lyceum Complex No. 200 in Narimanov district.

    In accordance with the "State Program on Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors and Drug Addiction for 2019-2024", an awareness-raising event was organized by the Narimanov District Executive Power jointly with the Working Group of the State Commission to strengthen and ensure the sustainability of advocacy and awareness-raising activities on drug prevention.

  At the event  Irada Mahmudova, First Deputy Head of the Narimanov District Executive Power, Rauf Zeyni, Member of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, President of the National Non-Governmental Organization, Tanriverdi Aydinov, Deputy Head of the Working Group of the State Commission, and a narcologist of the Baku Narcology Center of the Ministry of Health  gave information and recommendations on the destructive effects of drugs on the human body, the tragedies caused by drug addiction, increasing attention to the activities to be carried out in the field of education, and held extensive discussions on the issues of interest to the participants.

    At the same time, a video on the “802” Hotline prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission was shown and the necessary propaganda materials were distributed among the participants.
