Speaking at the online webinar on the  “Zoom”  platform, AzTU Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Public Relations Kamran Rasulov said that anti-drug measures are always in the center of attention in Azerbaijan and spoke about the relevant state programs in this direction. Ragif Allahverdiyev, head of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, gave detailed information about the negative effects of drugs on human life and health, moral values and socio-economic development, the legal framework for combating the effects of drugs and other issues. Then the employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, police lieutenant colonel Vugar Mansurov reported on the crimes committed in Azerbaijan in connection with the illegal preparation, production, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of drugs, psychotropic substances or their precursors.
