Relevant measures were taken to implement the "State Program on Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors and Drug Addiction for 2019-2024" on October 7, in Salyan region.

   Discussions were held with members of the relevant commission by district on the organization of the permanent Working Group of the State Commission and representatives of the Main Department for Combating Drugs and Personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lankaran Narcological Dispensary of the Ministry of Health, State Committee for Family, Women and Children and they were also provided with methodological assistance and necessary visual propaganda materials.

   In addition, a training on "Drug addiction, its psychological causes and the work to be done at school" was held for deputy principals, class teachers, school psychologists, chairmen of parent committees on the problem of drug addiction.

   The participants of the trainings were awarded certificates prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission.
