Relevant measures were taken to implement the "State Program on Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors and Drug Addiction for 2019-2024" on October 8 in Astara region.

  Discussions were held with the members of the relevant commission on the city of Astara and they were provided with methodological assistance and  with the necessary visual propaganda materials at the  event that was organized by the Working Group of the State Commission and attended by representatives of the Main Department for Combating Drugs and Personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lankaran City Narcological Dispensary of the Ministry of Health, State Committee for Family, Women and Children.

  In addition, training on "Drug addiction, its psychological causes and work to be done at school" was held on the problem of drug addiction for deputy principals, class teachers, school psychologists, chairmen of parent committees.

  Participants of the trainings were awarded certificates prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission.
