Trainings on drug addiction were held for deputy directors, class teachers and school psychologists of secondary schools of Sabail district in order to implement the relevant item of the Action Plan, signed on November 12 of this year by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and the Baku City Education Department.

  Representatives of the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and the Baku City Education Department participated at the event and on the basis of the presentation, extensive information was provided on the causes of drug addiction, mental and physical dependence on drugs, changes in behavior, taking preventive measures by pedagogues and subject teachers, psychologists in the fight against drugs and other issues.

  The participants were provided with the certificates  prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission as well as a booklet entitled “Methodical Recommendations ” in order to help identify drug and psychotropic substance abusers and also necessary propaganda materials were given to them on “Know the Truth About Drugs ”,“ The Truth About Marijuana ”and“ The Truth About Psychotropic Substances ”
