Trainings on drug addiction were held for deputy directors, class teachers and school psychologists of general education schools of Narimanov district In order to implement the relevant item of the Action Plan, signed on November 17 of this year by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and the Baku City Education Department.

  The event was attended by representatives of the permanent working group of the State Commission and the Baku City Education Department and on the basis of the presentation, extensive information was provided on the causes of drug addiction, mental and physical dependence on drugs, changes in behavior, taking preventive measures by pedagogues and subject teachers, psychologists in the fight against drugs and other issues.

  Certificates prepared by the permanent Working Group of the State Commission for the participants also cover the risk factors for the use of psychoactive substances, the stages of drug addiction, the characteristics of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, action plan for preventive measures and a booklet on methodological recommendations containing other necessary information was provided to them.
