Trainings on drug addiction were held for deputy directors, class teachers and school psychologists of Garadagh district secondary schools in order to implement the relevant item of the Action Plan, signed on November 26 of this year with the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and the Baku City Education Department.

  Representative of the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission took part at the training and on the basis of the presentation, he gave detailed information about the causes of drug addiction, mental and physical dependence on drugs, changes in behavior, taking preventive measures by pedagogues and subject teachers, psychologists in the fight against drugs and other issues.

  Certificates prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission as well as risk factors for the use of psychoactive substances, the stages of drug addiction, the characteristics of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, action plan for preventive measures and a booklet on methodological recommendations containing other necessary information were given to the participants of the training.
