2688 kg of poppy (15669 pieces) and 13980 kg of hemp bushes (42046 pieces) were destroyed respectively as a result of measures taken by the State Border Service under the conditional name "Khash-Khash 2021" in April-October of this year in the border area of Lerik, Gazakh, Yardimli, Astara, Agstafa, Balakan, Zagatala and Gubadli regions.  The process of detection and destruction of narcotic plants was carried out with the participation of the local executive office and law enforcement agencies.
