Training on drug addiction were held on December 8 of this year for deputy directors, class teachers and school psychologists on general education schools of Nizami district of Baku city in order to implement the relevant item of the Action Plan, signed by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking  jointly with the Baku City Education Department.

  During the training on "Drug addiction, its psychological causes and work to be done at school", representatives of the permanent working group of the State Commission, the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency made special presentations to the audience and the participants were provided with necessary information on risk factors for the use of psychoactive substances, the stages of drug dependence, the characteristics of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, action plan for preventive measures, express diagnostics in case of doubt.

   At the end, the participants were presented with certificates prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission and a booklet entitled "Methodological recommendations to help identify drug and psychotropic substance abusers."
