An enlightenment event was held on December 9 of the current year in Narimanov district secondary school № 34 by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission and the Narimanov District Executive Power in accordance with the "State Program on Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors and Drug Addiction for 2019-2024".

  The Deputy Head of the Narimanov District Executive Power, representatives of the Working Group of the State Commission, the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency, the Baku Narcology Center of the Ministry of Health participated at the event and made speech on the theme.

  The speeches provided detailed information about the devastating effects of drugs on the human body, the tragedies caused by drug addiction, etc., and held extensive discussions on issues of interest to students.

  At the end, the participants were presented with a booklet on "Methodical recommendations to help identify drug and psychotropic substance abusers" and the necessary advocacy materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission.
