An awareness-raising event on "Let's think about our future together and say no to drugs" was organized on December 13 by the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking jointly with Surakhani Youth House.

  Representatives of the Surakhani District Police Office, Sector Director of the Working Group of the State Commission, the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency spoke at the event and  Young people were provided with necessary information on risk factors for drug use, the stages of drug addiction, the characteristics of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health.

  In addition, in the second part of the event the participants  were trained on "Drug addiction and its consequences."

  At the end, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the permanent Working Group of the State Commission  were presented to the participants.
