An awareness-raising event was organized by the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and the Sabunchu District Executive Power on December 14 at Naradaran settlement secondary school № 295.
First, a scene about the tragedies caused by drug addiction was shown with the participation of students.
Representatives of the Sabunchu District Executive Power, the permanent Working Group of the State Commission, the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Sabunchu District Police Office, the Republican Narcology Center of the Ministry of Health participated and made a speech at the event.
The speakers emphasized the negative effects of drugs on human life and health, moral values and socio-economic development, the importance of effective organization of leisure time, sports, art and community service, and made necessary recommendations on other issues.
The students' questions on the fight against drug addiction and psychoactive substances were answered at the event.
At the same time, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission were distributed among the participants.
