The Permanent Working Group of the State Commission and Guba Branch of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University jointly organized trainings on "Drug addiction and its psychological causes and the work to be done in higher education" in accordance with paragraph 4.4.17 of the Action Plan for the implementation of the "State Program on Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors and Drug Addiction for 2019-2024".

  Within the framework of the event, students were provided with necessary information on risk factors of drug use, stages of drug addiction, properties of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health with special presentations by experts of the Working Group of the State Commission.

 At the end, the students were presented with certificates prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission, a booklet entitled "Methodological recommendations to help identify drug and psychotropic substance abusers" and other necessary advocacy materials.
