A seminar on “Risk factors for the use of psychoactive substances” was held in the military unit N located in Ganja city jointly organized by the Ministry of Defense and the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission in accordance with the "State Program on Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors and Drug Addiction for 2019-2024".

   During the seminar, psychologists were provided with necessary information on the characteristics of psychoactive substances, their harmful effects on health and the stages of formation of drug addiction as well as the action plan on preventive measures and the necessary information on the conduct of express diagnostics in case of suspicion of drug use.

   At the end, the participants were presented with a booklet on "Methodological recommendations to help identify drug and psychotropic substance abusers" prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission.
