Training was held at Baku Basic Medical College № 2 within the framework of the project "Awareness-raising activities on drugs, harmful habits and the fight against drugs" that was organized by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and the Public Union for Migration Development, with the financial support of the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations

  In order to raise awareness of the specifics of the problem of drug addiction, students were informed about the risk factors of drug use, the stages of formation of drug addiction, the characteristics of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, the importance of anti-drug propaganda, extensive information was provided on methods of combating drug addiction, and questions of interest were discussed. At the same time, the participants were provided with the necessary propaganda materials.
