Measures were taken in Ujar region on May 18 of the current year  to implement the "State Program on Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors and Drug Addiction for 2019-2024."

  A meeting with the members of the permanent commission was organized by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission,discussions were held, they were provided with methodological assistance and necessary visual aids.

 In addition, an awareness-raising event on drug abuse was held with the participation of the chairman and members of the district commission, law enforcement officers, representatives of the district education department and participants were provided with necessary information on risk factors for drug use, stages of drug addiction, properties of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health.

 At the end of the training, the participants were presented with a booklet entitled  "Methodical Recommendations" prepared by the Working Group of the State Commission to help identify those who abuse drugs and psychotropic substances.
