Awareness-raising event was organized in Yevlakh region in the direction of implementation of the "State Program on Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors and Drug Addiction for 2019-2024".

  Before the event, a meeting was held with members of the relevant commission for the region, discussions were held, they were provided with methodological assistance, as well as the necessary visual propaganda materials.

  The event was attended by high school students, school psychologists and teachers, the district prosecutor, employees of the Education and Police Department, the head of the Youth and Sports Department, a narcologist, representatives of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription and members of the local commission.

  The speakers informed the participants about the negative effects of drugs on human life and health, moral values and socio-economic development, the legal framework for combating the effects of drugs and other issues.

  At the event, a slide presentation by an employee of the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission provided necessary information on the risk factors of drug use, the stages of formation of drug addiction, the properties of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health.

  At the end, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission were presented to the participants.
