An event and training was held in Khizi region in the implementation of the "State Program on Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors and Drug Addiction for 2019-2024".

    Prior to the training, a meeting was held with members of the relevant commission of the district, discussions were held, they were provided with methodological assistance and necessary visual aids.

  In order to increase the knowledge and professionalism of volunteers on the problem of drug addiction, the participants were informed about the risk factors of drug use, the characteristics of psychoactive substances and their harmful effects on health, the stages of formation of drug addiction, the importance of anti-drug propaganda, methods of combating drug addiction and the issues of interest to the participants were discussed

  At the end, the participants were presented with the necessary propaganda materials on "Know the truth about drugs", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission.
