An educational event was organized at the College of Industry and Technology with the joint organization of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics and Narimanov District Executive Power in connection with 26 June UN “Anti-Narcotics Day”.

 The Deputy Head of the Executive Power of Narimanov District, the Chairman of the Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Drugs, the Responsible Employee of the Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Drugs, the Head of the Youth and Sports department, the chairman of the council of elders, employees of the police department , psychiatrist of the central clinical hospital participated at the event. The speakers gave detailed information about the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people's lives and health, moral values and socio-economic development, increasing attention to the efficient organization of leisure time, the legal basis of the fight against the consequences of drug addiction, and other issues and also discussions were held on questions of interest to the participants.

  In the end, the necessary promotional materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission entitled on "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" were presented to the participants.
