An event was organized in secondary school № 18 with the joint organization of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and the Yasamal District Executive Authority in connection with the June 26 UN "Anti-Narcotics Day".

The 1st Deputy Head of the Yasamal District Executive Authority, the responsible employee of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking, and representatives of the regional commission participated at the event. Detailed information was provided at the event on the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people's lives and health, moral values and socio-economic development, increasing attention to the efficient organization of leisure time, the legal basis of the fight against the consequences of drug addiction, and other issues and discussions were held on questions of interest to the participants.

  At the end, the participants of the event were presented with a booklet called "Methodical recommendations to help identify people who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" and other necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission.
