An educational event was organized by the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and the Executive Power of Garadagh District  in connection with the June 26 UN  “Anti-Narcotics Day”.

 The first deputy head of the Garadagh district executive power, the deputy head of the working group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics, representatives of the regional commission, a doctor narcologist of the Ministry of Health's Republican Narcology Center, teachers and school psychologists participated at the event. Detailed information was provided at the event on the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people's lives and health, moral values and socio-economic development, increasing attention to the efficient organization of leisure time, the legal basis of the fight against the consequences of drug addiction, and other issues at the same time discussions were held on questions of interest to the participants.

 At the same time, the participants were presented with a booklet called "Methodical recommendations to help identify people who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission.
