An event on  "Let's say no to drug addiction for the sake of a healthy life!" was held with the organization of  Binagadi District Executive Authority, Binagadi District Youth and Sports Department and "Binagadi Youth House" social service on the occasion of June 26 International Day of Combating Drug Addiction and Drug Business.

 Before the event, an exhibition of schoolchildren's paintings dedicated to June 26 - the International Day of the Fight against Drug Addiction and Drug Business was viewed.

  Sevinj Süleymanova, Deputy Head of the Executive Power of Binagadi District, Tanriverdi Aydinov, Deputy Head of the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics, and representatives of other relevant state bodies, leaders of youth organizations participated at the event.

  The speakers gave detailed information about the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people's lives and health, moral values and socio-economic development, increasing attention to the efficient organization of leisure time, the legal basis of the fight against the consequences of drug addiction, and other issues and discussed the questions that interested the participants.

 At the same time, the participants were provided with the necessary propaganda materials on "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" and a booklet entitled "Methodological recommendations to help identify persons abusing narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" was presented.
