An educational event was organized at the Khazar Youth House with the joint organization of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and the Khazar District Executive Power in connection with the June 26 UN "Day of Combating Narcotics".

The responsible employee of the Khazar region Executive Authority, the responsible employee of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics, and the head of the youth and sports department participated at the event . The speakers provided detailed information on the risk factors of drug use, the negative effects of drug addiction on people's lives and health, moral values and socio-economic development, increasing attention to the efficient organization of leisure time, the legal basis of the fight against the consequences of drug addiction, and other issues, and questions that interested the participants were discussed.

 In the end, the necessary propaganda materials prepared by the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission entitled "Know the truth about narcotics", "The truth about marijuana" and "The truth about psychotropic substances" were presented to the participants.
