On June 30, a mini-football tournament with the motto "Be one of us, choose a healthy future" was held under the joint organization of the YAP Central Office, the Surakhani district organization, and the Surakhani district Youth and Sports Department.

 The tournament was organized  in connection with the implementation of the "2019-2024 State Program on Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors and Combating Drug Addiction" approved by Decree No. 1334 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 22, 2019 in accordance with the signed joint Action Plan for 2022 of the Central Office of the New Azerbaijan Party, the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking, and "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting" Closed Joint Stock Company.

  At the opening ceremony of the tournament, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, and the dear memory of our martyrs who died for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country was commemorated with a minute's silence.

  Then the chairman of YAP Surakhani district organization Vugar Seyidov, the head of the Surakhani District Executive Power Aziz Azizov, the deputy director of Gender policy and youth work department of YAP Central Office Zakiya Musayeva, MP Sevinj Fataliyeva, the State Committee on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs spoke at the ceremony. Tanriverdi Aydinov, Deputy Head of the Working Group of the Commission, Elnur Orujov, Deputy Head of the International Relations Department of "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting" Closed Joint Stock Company, Surakhani District Prosecutor Rashid Mahmudov and others said that the field of combating drug addiction has always been in the center of attention, state programs have been accepted, various projects have been implemented. The main goal of today's event is to further strengthen the propaganda work related to the fight against drug addiction, which is one of the most painful problems of humanity, which has become a serious problem and a source of danger for the society, and to ensure the continuity of educational work conducted among teenagers and young people for the sake of our healthy future.

  After the speeches, the final stage started. The winners of the tournament, in which 10 teams participated, were awarded with souvenirs and diplomas.
