On July 13, an event called "Our national and moral values are a reliable shield against the negative effects of globalization" was held with the joint organization of the YAP Central Office and the Binagadi district organization within the framework of the Joint Action Plan signed by the Central Office of the New Azerbaijan Party, the Permanent Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking in Drugs, and "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting" Closed Joint Stock Company due to further strengthening of anti-narcotic propaganda among young people, as well as in connection with the implementation of the State Program adopted in this field.
Opening the event held in the administrative building of the YAP Binagadi district organization, the chairman of the organization, Vusar Ismayilov, said that illegal drug trafficking and drug addiction are one of the global problems that seriously concern the modern world, as well as endangering people's health, affecting the moral values of society, and also it is a factor that has a negative impact on socio-economic development. It was noted that the approval of the "State Program for the years 2019-2024 on the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors and the fight against drug addiction" by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is important in preventing this human disaster.

It was noted in the speeches that the health of the society is extremely important for the future of the country. In this regard, protection of the young generation from addiction to all kinds of harmful habits, especially the fight against drug addiction, is of great importance. The future fate of our country depends on its youth. It is from this point of view that it is important to form a healthy-minded personality connected to our traditions, national values, and ancestry. It was brought to attention that the role of national-spiritual and moral values, which enrich the spiritual world of our people, elevate our history and culture, is great in the fight against harmful habits and in the elimination of negative trends in society.
During the event, participants were distributed visual aids, booklets (memory books called "Know the truth about drugs", etc.) prepared by the working group of the State Commission.
