In connection with the implementation of clause 4.4.6 of the Action Plan for the implementation of the "2019-2024 State Program on the fight against illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors and the fight against drug addiction", a round table was organized in the Heydar Aliyev Center with the joint organization of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics and Hajigabul District Executive Power in order to increase the quality of preventive measures and the professionalism of those who implement those measures among people who abuse narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.

   At the round table, the employees of the Working Group of the State Commission and the representative of the General Anti-Narcotics Department made speeches on the topic, increasing attention to the measures to be implemented in connection with the prevention of drug addiction, involving public representatives and religious figures in such measures, municipalities, police bodies, education workers, labor unions and it was emphasized the need to continue relevant works in the direction of expanding relations between the relevant commissions, as well as expanding public education work, explaining to the population the provisions and requirements of the legislation on the fight against the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors.

  At the same time, the Working Group of the State Commission distributed memory booklets and warning leaflets to the participants for the purpose of prevention of non-medical consumption of narcotic substances, identification of persons abusing narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
